Notes: The mare was purchased last year and had a negative EIA test at the time of purchase. She was housed/pastured with an aged (30+ years) mule that had no history of being tested for EIA. The mule was born on the premises and with no history moving on or off the premises. There was no other history of equine movement on or off the premises. These are Wisconsin's first confirmed cases of EIA in almost 15 years.;
