Notes: The 4-year old QH mare became clinical on August 17th and was humanely euthanized due to a poor prognosis on August 18th. The horse was vaccinated by owner administration within the previous 6 months. This is Florida’s 26th confirmed EEE case in an equine this year and the 2nd case for Putnam County.
