Equine Herpesvirus- Respiratory

There were three horses shipped to AZ’s Turf Paradise track just before the NM index case broke with EHM. These horses were isolated once the NM case was announced. One of those three horses developed CNS signs, was euthanized and confirmed positive for EHV about one week after the NM index case. The other two horses have not shown any signs and no other horses at the track have shown signs. Turf Paradise is under quarantine until February 18, 2016.
