The horse listed in the October 25th alert was a 21 year old crossbred gelding with neurologic signs including ataxia and recumbency. The horse was euthanized and was the only horse affected. The infected horse was at a boarding stable in Loudon County. The boarding stable is under quarantine No horses on the farm have had any clinical signs or fevers since the quarantine began on October 24, 2019. ;
