Equine Herpesvirus- Respiratory

On 2/27/2016, the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets lifted the quarantine on a farm in Horseheads, NY (Chemung County), where non-neurologic EHV-1 had been diagnosed in early February. The farm completed all quarantine requirements. Only the index case showed signs of non-neurologic EHV-1. No other horses at the farm displayed signs of EHV-1 during the quarantine.
