Equine Herpesvirus- Respiratory

The quarantine put in place last month for an EHV-1 outbreak in Howard County, Maryland was lifted yesterday, May 19th , according to Maryland’s State Veterinarian. No new cases of EHV-1 have been reported since two horses tested positive for the non-neuropathogenic strain of EHV-1 on April 19th.
