Notes: Update:  4/8/22 Previous Alert IDs: 2521, 2504: One of the previously listed suspect horses in this ongoing case was found to be PCR positive for EHV-1 on April 4. The other eight suspect horses have not been tested but remain isolated at the quarantined facility. No new suspect cases have been identified among the remaining 30 exposed, but non-clinical horses. The facility remains under quarantine. Animal health officials continue to monitor the situation and urge the equine community to employ good biosecurity practices when attending equine events.
