Clinical Signs: This mare developed acute neurologic signs (recumbency, unable to rise) on August 25 and was euthanized. She was positive for EHV-1 on PCR (negative for EEE and WNV). On August 10, another mare on the property was euthanized after developing acute neurologic signs.; Confirmation Date: 9/1/2023; Horse Status: Euthanized; Vaccination Status: Unvaccinated;
