Age: 4; Gender: Gelding; Onset of Clinical Signs: 9/6/2024; Clinical Signs: This unvaccinated 4 year old gelding was referred to an equine hospital for evaluation of neurologic/gastrointestinal disease. He arrived down in the trailer and when assisted to stand was leaning to the left side for support and had an abnormal cranial nerve exam. Despite supportive treatment his condition rapidly deteriorated that day and he was euthanized.; Horse Status: Euthanized; Vaccination Status: Unvaccinated;
