Horse 1:
Onset of Clinical Signs: 11/4/2024; Clinical Signs: On Nov 9, three horses developed acute ataxia (ages 24, 30 and 17). They are all recovering. Two of the 3 tested positive for EHV-1 by PCR. A fourth horse developed acute ataxia on Nov 12 and is also recovering. A fifth horse was placed in isolation on Nov 14. All horses are being isolated at the facility.; Vaccination Status: Vaccinated;

Comments: The barn manager has implemented voluntary animal movement restrictions and is working with their veterinarian on biosecurity measures.;
