Comments: Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) officials confirmed equine infectious anemia in six quarter horses on an El Paso County premises. The premises has been quarantined and will not be released until TAHC’s requirements are met. The six positive horses were illegally removed while under quarantine. TAHC staff are working to monitor potentially exposed horses and implement biosecurity measures.;
