To the best of the State Veterinarian’s office knowledge, there are currently no horses on the Los Angeles Equestrian Center premises shedding EHV-1 virus”. Through repeated negative testing, one of the horses in isolation has been released to home stall. The remaining horse in isolation will be retested January 5th and a negative test result on Jan. 6th will allow this horse to return to its home stall and release of isolation barn quarantine. The last febrile case occurred on December 12, 2016.
