Horse 1:
Age: 4; Gender: Gelding; Breed: Quarter Horse (QH); Usage: Barrel Racing; Clinical Signs: Two horses from the property went to an event in the Hamilton Region May 2-4. After returning they were put out with other horses including this gelding. This gelding developed copious mucopurulent nasal discharge and tested positive for equine influenza. Another 6 horses are suspected of having the disease.; Confirmation Date: 5/14/2025;

Comments: The farm owner has instituted animal movement restrictions and biosecurity protocols.;
