Strangles

On January 19, one premise in Palm Beach County, Florida was placed under quarantine for strangles. The case was reported to the state on January 18. No equids have left the facility since clinical signs began. This is the first case for Palm Beach County and Florida’s fourth case in 2017. The case was not reported to the EDCC until Jan 24th due to travel by state personnel.
