Comments: From the Referring Veterinarian: Owner had this patient's mare at a breeding facility returned (two weeks prior to examination) with upper respiratory signs. Mare was immediately placed back with this patient. Suspect the mare is carrier. This is this patient's second positive test, with the previous one performed in Sept '25 at UC-Davis. Later had a < 1:200 S. equi equi titer in March '26 to assess risk for Purpura Hemorrhagica prior to immunizing. Mare had titers performed at the same time with a result of 1:800.;
