Comments: On Aug 13th, 2026 2 horses on a private facility in Clark County were confirmed by NVSL to be positive for EIA. The facility housed 5 total horses. Follow up regulatory testing found 1 additional horse to be positive for EIA. All 3 positive horses have been euthanized. The facility is under quarantine, and the remaining 2 cohort horses will be retested to confirm negative status prior to quarantine release.;
