Age: Suckling Foal; Gender: Colt; Breed: Standardbred; Onset of Clinical Signs: 8/24/2026; Clinical Signs: This 4 month old foal developed respiratory distress and was diagnosed with a retropharyngeal lymph node abscess, which was drained and the foal is recovering. Streptococcus equi was cultured from the abscess.; Horse Status: Recovering;
