The University of Kentucky Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory has confirmed 28 cases of Potomac Horse Fever in 2017. 4 cases were confirmed in May, 9 in June, 9 in July, and 6 in August as of August 14^th. Positive samples were collected from horses in Taylor, Woodford, Fayette, Bourbon, Scott, and Harrison Counties.
