On September 5^th, the Utah Department of Agriculture received confirmation of WNV in an unvaccinated 6-year-old Percheron mare located in Box Elder County. She has been treated and is improving, On September 7^th, WNV was confirmed in a vaccinated 6-year-old Quarter Horse mare and an unvaccinated Thoroughbred stallion, located at separate premises in Duchesne County. Both have been treated and are improving.
