Eastern Equine Encephalitis

On October 13, 2017 the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services confirmed Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) in one horse in Clay County. The unvaccinated 11 month old colt became neurologic on October 6^th and was euthanized for humane reasons. This the 6th case for Florida in 2017.
