The Kentucky Department of Agriculture confirmed samples collected from horses in Barn 30 at the Thoroughbred Center in Lexington tested negative for EHV-1. These horses have been monitored daily for greater than 14 days since any horse in the barn had opportunity to be exposure to a EHV-1. The horses in Barn 30 have been released from the quarantine and other restrictions imposed by the KY Department of Agriculture. The horses previously testing positive but have yet to be resolved, continue to be housed separate and apart from the general population while being assessments and tested before allowing their return and reintroduction to the general population.
